5 Fall Essentials

I know I’m super late to the game but here is my list of 5 Fall Essentials for this season.  I’ve provided a couple options at varying price points.  So here we go!

Over The Knee Boots

This once scandalous item of footwear (think Pretty Woman) has now become commonplace on my Instagram feed.  Paired appropriately, these boots can give off a classy, cool and even slimming look.

I snagged these Halogen Nobel OTK boots in black during the NSale this summer at an unbelievable price.  I was so excited when the weather cooled down to have the opportunity to sport these beauties.  The quality is good for the price point and so far I have no complaints.

The Cole Haan Marina OTK boot is made out of a stretchier suede giving it more of a “second skin” look compare to the Halogen pair above.  They have a super sultry feel and are definitely on my wish list!

Who wouldn’t want to snuggle up in what’s basically a blanket all day and still look chic?!  The poncho / cape is an ingenious invention and adds warmth without completely covering up your outfit underneath.  I love the idea of wearing one with a turtleneck (shown below) when a regular scarf would add too much bulk (and warmth!) to the neck area.

This simple  Banana Republic poncho has a neutral colour palette and is even reversible with highlights of blue on the other side.  It has a shorter hemline so this poncho is less overwhelming on a petite frame.  Bonus: This poncho is currently 40% off with code BRJOY!

How amazing is this Burberry poncho?!  Its so classic and timeless but with a price tag of $1195 I’m thinking it will probably remain on my wish list rather than my shopping cart for longer than I’d prefer.

Saddle Purse

This structured bag gives off a very polished, lady-like feel and the ability to wear it over the shoulder or as a cross body gives it ultimate versatility.

The coveted Chloe Marcie purse is so gorgeous and comes in six very wearable colours.  It is definitely an investment piece made of the highest quality leather and craftsmanship.

This Sole Society Thalia purse provides a very similar look to the Chloe Marcie bag at a mere fraction of the cost (3.3% of the price to be exact!).  But with a lower price also comes lower quality as it is not real leather.

This rag & bone Flight purse falls somewhere in the middle of the previous two purses price-wise and I did see it at Nordstroms in Calgary in black on sale for 40% off!  It also has a convenient little slit pocket in the back for quick access to your phone.

Fur Vest

The fur vest is a perfect layering piece for fall to add warmth when its not quite cold enough for a full-on jacket.  Fur vests are easy to pair with a variety of looks and adds that bit of luxe to any outfit.

This Sunday Best Ovid Vest from Aritzia has a hood!  I can totally picture cozying up in this beauty next to a fire with a cup of hot chocolate apres ski.

I purchased this Sole Society Faux Fur Vest from the NSale a few years back and its the perfect fall topper to any outfit.  Its a versatile addition to any fall wardrobe.

Floppy Wool Hat

Floppy hats are a classic timeless accessory and I believe can be worn year after year.  These hats add that extra oomph to make any regular outfit look super stylish!

I love this simple classic floppy wool hat from Banana Republic.  It comes in two sizes to ensure a perfect fit!

This BP Rope Trim Floppy Hat from Nordstrom is currently on sale and at $30 what’s not to love?!

There you have it!  Hope you found this list helpful and venture out to pick up a few of these essentials.  Time to get back to watching the US Election Results!

Love, Tiffany
